Whaley House
Built in 1857 on the site of San Diego's first public gallows, this historic home is said to be haunted by multiple spirits, including 'Yankee Jim' Robinson who was hanged there before the house was built. Visitors report hearing heavy footsteps, smelling cigar smoke and perfume with no source, and seeing apparitions of the Whaley family members.
